Davis & Grey Farms Wedding

As I arrived at Davis and Grey Farms venue on a beautiful fall day in Texas, I couldn’t help but feel excited about photographing this sweet wedding. The weather was a perfect 70 degrees, with the sun shining bright and creating a warm, golden light that made everything look even more magical.

Kali & Micah, who were about to tie the knot, radiated joy and excitement. They were so intentional with their time, taking moments to savor each other’s presence and soak in the significance of the day. The love they shared was evident in every glance, every touch, and every smile.

During the ceremony, they made the Gospel known, sharing their faith in Jesus and devotion to Him and each other in front of their loved ones. It was a beautiful and heartfelt moment, and I felt privileged to be able to capture it with my camera.

As the day progressed and we moved on to the reception, the couple shared their love story with their guests. They spoke of how they had met in college, and the unwavering love they had for each other. We all laughed with them as they told their story but I’d be lying if I sad there were only tears from laughter in our eyes as their story was filled with sweet moments of following Jesus together as well.

Throughout the day, I was focused on capturing the timeless moments that unfolded before me. I wanted to ensure that the images I produced were true to color, capturing the vibrancy and beauty of the day. I also aimed to capture the joy, fun, and bright energy that filled the air, creating bold and striking images that would be cherished for years to come.

As a wedding photographer, moments like these are what I live for. Being able to witness and capture the love shared between two people on one of the happiest days of their lives is an incredibly rewarding experience. This sweet wedding day at Davis and Grey Farms will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am grateful to have been a part of it.
